Accenture and ServiceNow have launched a joint commercial offering designed to accelerate the transition from outdated risk platforms to agentic artificial intelligence. The partnership introduces a two-part solution consisting of managed security services hosted on the ServiceNow AI Platform and an automated migration tool built by Accenture. The firms aim to tackle the main obstacles holding back corporate risk modernisation, specifically the high expense and operational complexity of moving away from legacy systems.

The deployment comes amid rising digital threats, with data breach costs in the US hitting a record high of $10.22 million per incident in 2025, representing a 9% increase year on year. Furthermore, the window between the discovery of a security vulnerability and its active exploitation has shrunk from several months to just a few hours. By providing risk management services powered by agentic AI, both companies intend to equip firms with tools to mitigate financial exposure and strengthen long-term resilience.

“Cyber resilience is a clear business imperative as organizations face a growing volume of threats and increasing operational complexity,” said Rex Thexton, global chief technology officer at Accenture Cybersecurity. “Companies need more than isolated security tools. They need the ability to connect risk insights, automate decision-making, and respond at enterprise scale. By combining Accenture’s deep cybersecurity expertise with the the ServiceNow AI Platform, we are helping organizations modernize security operations, strengthen resilience, and turn cybersecurity into a driver of business confidence and agility.”

The joint product line delivers several core capabilities, including unified integrated risk management where AI agents oversee third-party vendors. It also combines operational technology and information technology risk on one platform to enhance threat visibility across industrial control systems and critical infrastructure. Additionally, autonomous agents monitor regulatory shifts to handle compliance proactively, while Accenture’s automated migration utility moves clients off old systems to reduce disruption and time to value.

“The future of cybersecurity will be driven by autonomous operations powered by AI,” said Lou Fiorello, group vice president and general manager of Security and Risk products at ServiceNow. “ServiceNow and Accenture are moving customers toward that future by combining enterprise AI, integrated workflows, and deep cyber expertise. Together, we are helping organizations simplify security operations, improve resilience, and respond to threats with greater speed and confidence.”

Accenture was previously named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape Worldwide Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance Consulting Services 2025–2026 Vendor Assessment. The report highlighted how Accenture blends technology and process with strategic ecosystem partners like ServiceNow to handle complex regulatory and distributed business risks.
