Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) has entered into a new partnership with J.P. Morgan’s Dubai branch through a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at advancing women’s participation in the workforce and strengthening their career prospects across the UAE.
The agreement was signed by Her Excellency Naeema Ahli, CEO of Dubai Women Establishment, and Khaled Hobballah, Senior Country Officer for the Middle East and North Africa at J.P. Morgan. The MoU sets out a broad framework for collaboration that reflects the shared intention of both organisations to improve opportunities for women and contribute to long-term economic growth.
As part of the arrangement, the two sides will cooperate on a range of programmes and initiatives centred on four priority areas: economic empowerment, professional development, leadership training, and career mentorship. These will include a series of specialised events and activities designed to encourage knowledge-sharing and networking among women in various sectors.
J.P. Morgan is expected to play a key role by contributing technical expertise to training courses, working alongside DWE on workshops and seminars, and offering mentorship to participants involved in the partnership’s initiatives.
Her Excellency Naeema Ahli said, “We are pleased to sign this MOU with one of the world’s leading financial institutions in supporting women in the professional and business sectors, in line with DWE’s strategy to enhance women’s role in the national economy through impactful strategic collaborations.”
She said the cooperation would create new opportunities to exchange international experience and apply best practices, ultimately helping Emirati women build the skills needed to pursue their professional ambitions and support wider economic sustainability.
Khaled Hobballah said, “At J.P. Morgan, we believe that empowering women in the workforce is essential for driving innovation and sustainable growth. This collaboration with Dubai Women Establishment reflects our commitment to fostering inclusive opportunities and supporting the professional development of women across the UAE.”
The MoU marks a further step in Dubai’s ongoing efforts to strengthen women’s engagement in the national economy and enhance leadership pathways for future generations.
