Qatar Airways has announced a strategic collaboration with Accenture to drive a new era of innovation in aviation using artificial intelligence (AI). The partnership aims to enhance customer experiences, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen the overall performance of the Qatar Airways Group.
At the centre of this initiative is AI Skyways, a newly established programme designed to deliver AI-driven projects across the airline group. The platform will focus on responsible AI deployment, data capabilities, and a dedicated value realisation office to measure and maximise the benefits of each AI project.
The airline says AI Skyways will accelerate the introduction of AI solutions across multiple aviation applications, from optimising flight schedules and improving predictive maintenance to tailoring customer interactions. The goal is to enable Qatar Airways to deliver more seamless and personalised travel experiences.
The partnership also aims to explore emerging AI trends in aviation, ensuring Qatar Airways can adapt to shifting market demands and maintain long-term growth.

Qatar Airways says AI Skyways will be central to its ambition of becoming a fully digital-first organisation, using advanced technologies to refine decision-making and streamline processes.

The airline confirmed that it is developing AI solutions with the potential to be replicated in other future projects. These will be deployed under strict ethical guidelines, with robust data protection measures and continuous oversight to ensure AI benefits are shared among all stakeholders.
