Google has announced that all artificial intelligence features in its Workspace suite—including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Meet—will now be available to users without the additional charge of US$20 per user per month, previously required under the Gemini Business plan.

These AI-powered tools will now be included in the standard Workspace subscriptions. However, the update comes alongside a slight price increase for users.

The cost of Workspace subscriptions will rise by around US$2 per user each month, as confirmed by Jerry Dischler, Google’s president of cloud applications. The base subscription price will increase from US$12 to US$14 per month.

The AI tools available as part of the subscription include features such as email summaries in Gmail, design generators for spreadsheets and videos, an automated meeting note-taker, and writing assistance across various applications. Additionally, users will have access to the Gemini chatbot, offering even more capabilities to streamline productivity and enhance user experience.
