The ‘Creative Women Forum is taking place at the Garage within King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) on the 7th and 8th of October 2024. This event is conducted to celebrate the remarkable achievements of women across business, science, technology, and the creative industries. The event will be hosted under the patronage of HRH Princess Noura bint Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Founded by Olga Balakleets in 2016 in the United Kingdom, Creative Women is an elite networking platform dedicated to shared experiences, career development, innovation, and mentorship opportunities for influential women in business. It provides a unique space to connect with innovators, thought leaders, and top executives who share their proven tools, strategies, and invaluable experiences, inspiring members to believe in themselves and take decisive steps toward leadership in their industries.

Even the venue of the event, the Garage within King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), tells a tale of a strong passion for women’s empowerment and for steering women in the direction of innovation, mentorship, and leadership. The Garage serves as a pioneering incubator for tech startups, merging creativity, innovation, and scientific exploration.

With its vast space and inclusive nature, the Garage at KACST plays host to 300 startup companies and regularly conducts events that connect tech entrepreneurs from around the globe. The venue provides a dynamic space for innovation, reflecting the Forum’s mission to celebrate creativity and empower women leaders.

This dynamic and strong partnership between KASCT and the Creative Women Forum embodies a convergence of shared values and visions. KASCT’s involvement as the venue will play a crucial role in the participation of its female entrepreneur members and innovators. The venue also will increase the prestige factor of the forum. The Forum agenda lends itself to KASCT’s expertise and leadership.

The forum is yet another reflection of Saudi Arabia’s shifting landscape for women, particularly in sectors like technology and science. Backed by institutions such as KACST, this initiative highlights the Kingdom’s broader commitment to inclusivity as part of its national strategy. As Saudi Arabia continues to invest in women’s education, leadership, and entrepreneurship, events like the Creative Women Forum aren’t just about celebrating achievements, they are driving real, long-term progress.
