The British Business Bank, a major investor in the UK, has invested €20 million into a fund called Revaia Growth II. This fund has collected a total of €250 million. It’s the second fund created by Revaia, following the success of their first fund launched in 2021.
Revaia’s second fund, Revaia Growth II, plans to invest in about 12 companies, with individual investments ranging from €10 to €30 million. It has already backed six companies and reserves a third of its capital for follow-on investments, particularly to support mergers and acquisitions within its portfolio. This initiative aligns with efforts to boost funding for female entrepreneurs through the Invest in Women Taskforce, a government-supported program. Additionally, the British Business Bank, which contributed €20 million to this fund, is committed to promoting gender diversity in venture capital as a founding signatory of the Investing in Women Code.
