Verve has promoted Liz Parker as Managing Partner and has appointed Jennifer Jones as General Counsel as a part of its leadership expansion.

Parker will be in charge of Verve’s daily operations and strategic objectives in her capacity as Managing Partner. Parker has been a key player in growing Verve’s publishing, intellectual property, audio, and media rights divisions since joining the company in 2018. She was named Co-Head Of Motion Picture Literature in 2022 and was also instrumental in Verve’s 2021 entry into New York.

“It’s been a wild ride, and we’re just getting started,” Parker said. “I’m honored to take on this new role and continue expanding Verve’s reach and platform, alongside such a talented team and vibrant culture that truly sets us apart.”

Jones brings expertise from her previous positions as Head of Global Business Affairs at Conde Nast and Vice President of Business Affairs at Disney+ and Marvel to her job as General Counsel and Head of Business Affairs. She started out in the legal field as a Litigator at the renowned Munger, Tolles & Olson in Los Angeles. Jones will head Verve’s legal department and oversee its business affairs division in this new position, which is crucial for the agency’s intended future growth.

“Verve’s knack for pushing the envelope has always impressed me,” Jones said. “Joining the team at such a transformative time is incredibly exciting, and I’m eager to contribute to our next big successes.”

Co-founders Bryan Besser and Adam Levine added, “Liz has been the secret sauce behind some of our biggest wins, and her leadership has driven some of our most successful initiatives. Jennifer is a rockstar in her field and a perfect fit for Verve as we navigate the next chapter. Our success is our succession, and these two are helping lead the charge.”
