Susan Wolburgh Jenah takes the helm as Hydro One’s new interim Chair

After Timothy Hodgson took an unpaid leave of absence to run for the Liberal Party of Canada in the federal election, Hydro One named Susan Wolburgh Jenah as its acting chair of the board. Wolburgh Jenah joined the board at the start of 2020, the Canadian utility, which has around 1.5 million customers and is the biggest energy transmission and distribution supplier in the province of Ontario.

She formerly held multiple executive positions at the Ontario Securities Commission and served as the founding president and CEO of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organisation of Canada, according to the corporation.

At the moment, Wolburgh Jenah is also a member of the Aecon Group board.  She previously served as a director at the NEO Exchange and the U.S. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, among other places.
