The Startup Lady Association has been selected as an Official Ambassador for SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026. The event is one of the largest innovation conferences in Asia and is currently taking place in the Japanese capital. Running from 27 April to 29 April 2026, the summit brings together technology experts and digital specialists to solve global urban issues. Organisers expect to host 700 exhibitors and approximately 60,000 attendees from 49 different cities.

The appointment comes after the association was chosen for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Global Exchange Promotion Program in 2025. This led to the launch of the Go Global Hub which acts as a bridge for investors and business owners between Japan and the rest of the world. The association is a Japan-based accelerator that focuses on helping women entrepreneurs and future leaders through education and community building. Their selection as an ambassador is a result of their work in connecting international talent with Japanese firms to help businesses grow globally.

In her capacity as an ambassador, Representative Director Moeko Suzuki will take on several high-profile roles during the conference. On 28 April she is set to moderate a discussion titled “AI × Film: Exploring Innovation in the Film Industry” at the Sun Pillar Stage. Additionally Suzuki will represent La French Tech Tokyo as a board member during a side event. This session will look at how the technology relationship between France and Japan can expand outside of their respective capital cities.

The Startup Lady Association will also use its position to highlight talented pitch presenters and exhibitors to help them find new connections. They plan to host specialized side events specifically for women investors and founders. These sessions are intended to help different global stakeholders work together on new projects. By using its international network the association aims to support ventures that have a positive social impact while addressing the sustainability goals of the Tokyo summit.
