Effective July 1, Anne Kelly Fontenelle-Clarke has been appointed as the new CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority.

In her new role, Fontenelle-Clarke will spearhead international marketing initiatives for St. Kitts, emphasizing relationships with travel trade partners and airlines. Her responsibilities include devising strategic plans that span earned, paid, and owned media, cultivating valuable partnerships, and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.

Fontenelle-Clarke’s focus will extend to the high-performing leisure and cruise segments of St. Kitts tourism. She is also set to prioritize the romance and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) markets, aiming to enhance the economic impact of tourism across the island.

Marsha T. Henderson, the minister of tourism, international transport, civil aviation, urban development, employment, and labor, praised Fontenelle-Clarke’s extensive background: “The wealth of experience Fontenelle-Clarke brings to the table, spanning over twenty-five years in the tourism and event management sector, particularly in Caribbean travel and in the romance market, is truly admirable. She has a proven track record of transforming organisations and tourism authorities into industry leaders through innovative strategies, collaborative partnerships, and exceptional results. We are confident that under her leadership, we will continue to drive high demand for St. Kitts among air and cruise passengers, contributing to the ongoing growth of our tourism sector.”
