Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture has formally agreed with Romania’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development through a memorandum of understanding.

The memorandum aims to boost economic development in agriculture and rural sectors and promote collaboration in adopting advanced technologies.

The agreement aims to improve agricultural production, enhance the management of animal resources, and strengthen food security and sustainable economic prosperity between Saudi Arabia and Romania. It includes collaboration in the plant and livestock sectors, specifically emphasizing advancing the breeding and development of cattle, sheep, and goats.

Key elements of the agreement include enhancing agricultural trade, collaborating on agricultural research, and advancing research in field crop cultivation and plant variety development. Furthermore, both parties aim to improve cooperation in modern beekeeping technologies and automation.

This agreement emphasizes Saudi Arabia and Romania’s commitment to strengthening their friendly relations and collaborating towards achieving sustainable development goals.
