MullenLowe Group Sri Lanka (MLG) has announced the appointment of Sarah Nasry as its new Director and Chief Financial Officer. The appointment takes effect immediately and signals a significant leadership development for the integrated marketing solutions firm.

In her new position, Sarah will oversee both Finance and Human Resources, contributing to the strategic direction of the company’s operations and people management. Her broad expertise spans several domains, including Supply Chain, ICT, Administration, Corporate Communications, and CSR.

Before joining MLG, Sarah held the role of General Manager – Finance and Business Partnering at Brandix, one of Sri Lanka’s top apparel manufacturing companies. Known for her acumen in business partnering and financial planning, she is also credited for championing inclusive and high-performing workplace cultures.

MLG’s Executive Chairman Thayalan Bartlett expressed confidence in her leadership, saying, “Sarah’s appointment follows an extensive search for the right person to lead our finance division through the next phase of our journey. Her wide-ranging experience and strong leadership credentials give me every confidence that she will continue to strengthen the financial integrity and compliance standards we are known for, and the Board looks forward to working closely alongside her in this journey.”

Sarah’s appointment is also a historic one, marking her as the first female member of MullenLowe Group Sri Lanka’s Board of Directors. She will also serve on the company’s Executive Committee, reinforcing MLG’s commitment to inclusive leadership.

Reflecting on her new role, Sarah shared, “I am honoured and excited to join MullenLowe Group Sri Lanka and help steer the company into its next chapter. The current Board of Directors at MLG comprises Marc Santi Eleanor (UK), Eshan Ponnudurai (Global CMO, Meta US), Harendra Uyanage (Senior VP & ECD, MLG), Dr. Sohan Dharmarajah (VP & Head of LoweTech), Sarah Nasry (Director & CFO, MLG), Nasser Mohammed (VP & Finance Director, MLG), and Thayalan Bartlett (Executive Chairman & Director, MLG).
