Global Women in PR (GWPR) MENA has announced the appointment of Lynn Al Khatib, Vice President of Communications at Chalhoub Group, as its newest board member, marking a significant milestone as the organization celebrates reaching 100 members across the Middle East and North Africa region. This strategic addition to the board comes amid GWPR MENA’s ongoing commitment to advancing female leadership and gender parity within the communications and public relations industry. 

Lynn Al Khatib brings over 15 years of experience and a strong dedication to empowering women in PR, reinforcing the organization’s mission to foster professional growth, mentorship, and impactful networking opportunities for senior women communicators. The new board member joins a diverse and accomplished team driving positive change and shaping the future of the communications profession in the region. This announcement highlights GWPR MENA’s expanding influence and its role as a leading platform for women leaders in PR across the MENA region.

The six successful women who make up the GWPR MENA board come from a variety of backgrounds in communications, including agency, in-house, and consultancy. They all have a wealth of expertise and a passion for supporting women in the field.

Collectively, they embody the richness and complexity of the communications environment in the MENA region and share a dedication to promoting gender equality, developing leadership, and bringing about sustainable, constructive change.

  • Lynn Al Khatib, Vice President, Communications, Chalhoub Group – Board Member

Women having ten or more years of experience in senior leadership positions in agency, in-house, and consulting settings are encouraged to apply to GWPR MENA.  Members have access to unique tools for advancing their careers, such as thought leadership, worldwide networking, mentorship, and a cooperative platform for promoting constructive change in the industry.
