
Aon plc, a global leader in professional services, has announced the appointment of Jennifer Richards as CEO of the Asia Pacific region, effective 1 March. Richards takes over the role from Anne Corona, who has recently been appointed as CEO of enterprise clients and global chief commercial officer.
In her new position, Richards will work closely with the Asia Pacific Executive Committee to strengthen the firm’s regional capabilities, drive growth, and deliver outstanding value to clients. She will also be responsible for inspiring Aon’s team across the region and executing on the firm’s 3×3 Plan. Richards will report directly to Lori Goltermann, CEO of Regions, and will join Aon’s Executive Committee. She is set to relocate from Australia to Singapore in the coming months.
Richards has been with Aon for 13 years, having initially joined the company in Australia. Throughout her tenure, she has built a strong reputation for supporting clients across Australia, the region, and globally, helping them navigate complex risk and people challenges. Most recently, she served as the head of Australia, where she excelled in fostering key client relationships and advancing Aon’s 3×3 Plan, which aims to accelerate growth and improve the firm’s capabilities across all solutions.

Before joining Aon, Richards held several senior management roles at AIG in North America, working in the Financial Institutions and M&A sectors. She also has a background in corporate and securities law, having practiced at Sidley Austin LLP in New York City before entering the insurance industry.
