Investcorp Capital appoints Sana Khater as Chief Executive Officer

In her role as CEO, she will lead the company’s efforts to enhance shareholder value, maintain operational excellence, and advance Investcorp Capital’s focus on global alternative investments

Investcorp Capital plc (ADX: ICAP), a prominent investor in alternative private market opportunities, has announced the appointment of Sana Khater as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 September 2025.

Khater steps into the role with a distinguished career spanning more than 35 years, bringing strategic and financial leadership experience from senior executive positions across both listed and private companies. Her previous roles include C-Suite leadership at Aldar, Waha Capital, NBK Capital, and National Bank of Kuwait.

Throughout her career, Khater has successfully guided organisations through international expansion, complex business transformations, capital allocation strategies, and the implementation of strong corporate governance frameworks. She brings a deep understanding of a range of sectors critical to Investcorp Capital’s operations, including private equity, real estate, asset management, and financial services.

In her role as CEO, she will lead the company’s efforts to enhance shareholder value, maintain operational excellence, and advance Investcorp Capital’s focus on global alternative investments. Her appointment also reinforces the company’s capacity for strong stakeholder engagement across public and private markets.

Khater will take over from Mohamed Aamer, who has served as Interim CEO since March 2025. Aamer will continue to lead the company until the leadership transition is completed in September.
