Google Cloud has appointed Hana Raja as Country Manager for its operations in Malaysia. She will be responsible for leading the local go-to-market strategy and operations for both Google Cloud and Google Workspace.
She will collaborate with groups throughout Google to assist Malaysian companies in utilising robust cloud solutions driven by artificial intelligence.
Serene Sia, Google Cloud’s Country Director for Malaysia and Singapore, who manages operations in both countries, will be Hana’s supervisor. Hana has been a leader for more than 16 years. She helped companies in industries like banking, retail, healthcare, energy, and government, expand and enhance customer experiences while holding senior positions at Cisco and Bain & Company.
Serene Sia said, “Hana joins us at a pivotal time in Google Cloud’s expansion in Malaysia, We’re making major investments in infrastructure, including the sovereign cloud with Dagang NeXchange Berhad (DNeX), a Google Cloud region, and a data center in Elmina Business Park. We’re also supporting national-scale initiatives such as AI at Work 2.0 with the Ministry of Digital and the National AI Office (NAIO), and Teraju AI Selangor with the Selangor state government. With Hana’s strategic vision, deep industry knowledge, and focus on culture, she’s well-positioned to lead the next phase of our growth and deepen our engagement with local organisations.”
