Chubb promotes Kate Burke, to lead APAC personal lines

Chubb, a leading global insurer, has appointed Kate Burke as the new Head of International Personal Lines (IPL) for Asia Pacific (APAC), effective May 1st. With over 17 years of experience in the industry and a strong background in travel insurance, Burke brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role.

Based in Singapore, Burke will be responsible for driving the strategic growth of Chubb’s auto, residential, specialty, and high-net-worth lines of business across the APAC region. She will report directly to Ben Howell, Head of Consumer for Asia Pacific, and will also have a matrix reporting line to John Thompson, Division President for International Personal Lines.

Burke’s journey with Chubb began in 2017 when she joined as a Regional Portfolio Manager for travel in APAC. Since then, she has held various leadership positions within the company, including Head of Travel and Division Head of IPL. Her most recent role as Head of Residential, Personal Risk Solutions, and Specialty Personal Lines, APAC, saw her driving strategic business growth and establishing partnerships across the region.

With her extensive industry experience and proven track record, Burke is well-positioned to lead Chubb’s personal lines division in APAC to new heights of success.
