Captain Tasmin Doza has been appointed as the Director of Flight Operations at Biman Bangladesh Airlines. Captain Tasmin Doza has made history as the first woman to be appointed as a director of a Bangladeshi airline. Before her new role, Captain Doza served as the chief of the training flight operations department at Biman Airlines.
Captain Doza has a strong academic and professional background. She graduated from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and got her flying license from the Bangladesh Flying Academy.
She has worked as an instructor pilot for the Fokker-28 and served as both fleet chief and instructor for the Boeing-737, as well as an instructor for the Boeing-787 Dreamliner. She also served as the team leader for flight data monitoring and as a flight operations inspector at the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).
Tasmin received advanced training in turboprop technology aircraft at British Aerospace in the UK in 1995. She continued her education with Airbus A-310 training at Flight Safety Miami in 1998, followed by instruction on the Fokker F-28 at the Garuda Indonesia Training Center in 2001.
Throughout her career, Tasmin has accumulated nearly 13,000 flight hours as both a pilot and co-pilot, along with approximately 3,000 hours of training experience on the Fokker F-28 and Boeing 737.
