Blake Lively, renowned for her roles in Gossip Girl and The Age of Adaline, has officially launched her much-anticipated hair care brand, Blake Brown. This innovative line marks a significant addition to the world of beauty, featuring an eight-piece vegan collection that includes a range of shampoos, masks, and styling products.

The Blake Brown collection, which has been seven years in the making, embodies Lively’s dedication to creating a premium hair care experience. Developed in collaboration with the privately-held beauty group, Give Back Beauty, the range offers a dual-system approach with products designed to both strengthen and nourish hair, promising results that leave hair “healthy and strong.”

In her statement, Blake Lively emphasised the meticulous nature of the product development process. “Performance was paramount,” she noted. “We were uncompromising, which is why it took an absurd amount of time, but the products show our level of dedication and strict quality control. I was determined to bottle up a premium, salon-quality hair care line that is cleaner, cruelty-free, easier, yummier, more sustainable and more accessible than anything I saw out there.”

The Blake Brown product range

The Blake Brown line features a variety of products, including the Fundamental Nourishing and Strengthening Shampoos and Masks, as well as the Rich Reset Pre-Shampoo Mask. For styling, the collection offers The Dry Shampoo, Glam Mousse, and All-in-Wonder Leave-In Potion. These products are free from sulfates, silicones, parabens, and synthetic dyes, and are infused with fragrances inspired by Lively’s personal favourites.

Corrado Brondi, founder of Give Back Beauty, praised Lively’s involvement in the project, stating, “Blake’s drive, purpose and instincts in developing this brand were unmatched. From the meticulously crafted formulations to their exquisite fragrances, Blake had her hands, or should we say hair, in everything. And had a clear directive about how she wanted the brand to look, feel and smell.”

The Blake Brown products will be available at Target starting 4 August and can also be purchased through blakebrownbeauty.com. Prices for the collection range from $18.99 to $24.99.

Blake Lively, 36, took to social media to share her excitement about the launch, reflecting on her journey. “Ever since I was a kid, through adolescence, early adulthood, motherhood, work, personal life, whenever, wherever, the single most identifiable part about me has always been my personality—no? Not my personality? Oh… My hair,” she humorously captioned her announcement.

With this new venture, Blake Lively brings her passion for beauty and personal care to the forefront, offering a new choice for those seeking high-quality, sustainable hair care products.
