Bank Asia PLC has partnered with BIC Uttaran to organize an important workshop aimed at nurturing women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. The event, titled “Women Entrepreneurship Development & Access to Banking Finance,” brought together 53 female business owners for a full day of learning, networking, and inspiration. This workshop is part of Bank Asia’s continued commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs and helping them unlock their potential.
The session was officially launched by Md Shaminoor Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the MSME Division at Bank Asia. The event took place at the Bank Asia Institute for Training & Development in Dhaka’s Lalmatia area. Rahman highlighted the importance of initiatives like this in empowering women and ensuring that they have the tools and support needed to succeed in business.
Joining him at the event were Md Quamruzzaman, Team Leader at BIC Uttaran, and Mosharraf Hossain, an Associate Professor at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM). Senior officials from Bank Asia were also in attendance, further underscoring the importance of this initiative. Together, they provided valuable insights and expertise on the challenges women face in accessing financial resources and growing their businesses.
