Bank al Etihad recently marked a significant milestone with the graduation of 37 women from the 6th round of its Shorouq Comeback Program. This initiative is aimed at supporting women who are seeking to return to the workforce after taking voluntary career breaks. The graduates have now gained enhanced confidence and vital skills, empowering them to thrive in today’s competitive job market.

Throughout the program, participants benefited from practical training and mentoring provided by the bank and its partners. In addition, the women were introduced to the Shorouq Connect Network, a supportive community where they can connect with other women. This network serves as a platform for exchanging ideas, knowledge, and experiences, with opportunities to attend various networking events and learning initiatives.

Raya Sinokrot, a 2024 graduate of the program, shared her experience: “As a graduate of the Shorouq Comeback Program, I can attest to its profound impact. It has been an incredible journey of growth and support, equipping me with skills and a network that I know will propel my career forward.”

The Shorouq Comeback Program is part of Bank al Etihad’s broader Shorouq suite of services, which is tailored specifically for women in Jordan. Launched in 2014, the suite includes a range of banking solutions and non-financial services designed to promote financial independence, security, and greater economic participation for women.
