Global insurer AXA has announced its sponsorship of the upcoming UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, scheduled to take place from July 2nd to July 27th in Switzerland. This partnership underscores AXA’s unwavering dedication to advancing women’s sports.

“AXA is a strong supporter of women’s sport, as part of our drive for gender equality on all fronts – business, health, education, sports and society at large. I am incredibly proud of this sponsorship, especially as all European AXA entities pulled together to make it happen. We are thrilled to be partnering with UEFA and very much looking forward to this major international event that will bring together football fans from all over Europe.”

“AXA is a dedicated supporter of women’s football in Switzerland, so we are thrilled to partner with them for what will be an unforgettable UEFA Women’s EURO 2025. We look forward to working together to make this the can’t-miss event of next summer, while also strengthening women’s football in the host country and throughout Europe.”

Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA marketing director

“AXA, a long-time supporter and partner of women’s football in Switzerland and globally, is a perfect fit to become a global partner of UEFA Women’s EURO 2025. AXA’s involvement in women’s football spans beyond mere sponsorship. The company actively engages in initiatives such as serving as the official training partner of Liverpool FC’s women’s team and acting as the naming partner of the top Swiss women’s football league. Through these endeavors, AXA seeks to bolster recognition for female athletes and their respective fields, in alignment with its ‘Know You Can’ brand ethos, which encourages customers to believe in their potential.

The UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 championship promises to be a monumental event, featuring 16 teams competing in eight Swiss cities across more than 30 games, making it the largest European women’s sports team event of 2025. With an estimated global viewership of around 500 million, and over 700,000 stadium tickets available for the 31 matches, the tournament is poised to captivate audiences worldwide.

While the financial details of the partnership remain undisclosed, AXA’s collaboration with UEFA is set to extend through the conclusion of UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 in August 2025, signifying a continued commitment to the advancement of women’s football.
