atNorth expands leadership team with key appointments

atNorth, the leading Nordic provider of colocation, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence services, has announced two significant new hires that underscore the company’s focus on sustainable growth. As demand for its eco-friendly data centre solutions rises, these appointments are a strategic move to further strengthen the company’s operations and culture.

Marie Ekström has been appointed as the Director of People & Culture. Marie has accumulated 15 years of experience in human resources and has worked for well-known firms such as IBM, Nordea, and Carnegie Investment Bank. Her expertise in IT and HR makes her an invaluable addition to the team. Marie’s main responsibility will be to build a dynamic and supportive people & culture team, ensuring that atNorth’s commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and cohesion continues as the business expands.

Meanwhile,Cora Olsen becomes the Director of Sustainability. Cora joins atNorth with more than two decades of experience in sustainability. Her impressive career includes roles such as Sustainability Advisor at EY, Global Lead of ESG Reporting at Novo Nordisk, and VP of Sustainability & Regeneration at Better Energy. Cora’s focus will be on creating a strong sustainability team and enhancing the company’s cross-functional capabilities. She will lead efforts to continuously improve atNorth’s sustainability strategy, explore emerging renewable energy solutions, and implement energy-efficient technologies. In addition, Cora will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that the company remains a leader in sustainability practices.

These appointments follow a series of other key hires at atNorth this year, including Charlotte Ware as Design Director, Chris Larsen as Chief Technical Officer, Jack Bölja as Excellence Director, Jeff Kjeldsen as Operations Director for Denmark, Taina Ahti-Aalto as Operations Director for Finland, Jörgen Larsson as Director of Hyperscale Operations, and Anna Kristín Pálsdóttir as Chief Development Officer. With these new hires, atNorth continues to strengthen its leadership team and position itself for future growth.
