Apple is set to expand its presence in Saudi Arabia, marking a significant milestone with the launch of its online store in the summer of 2025. This will be the first time customers in the Kingdom will be able to shop for Apple products and services in Arabic, making it easier for local consumers to access the full range of Apple offerings.

In addition to the online store, Apple has ambitious plans to open its first physical flagship stores in Saudi Arabia by 2026. One of the most exciting developments will be an iconic store situated at the historic Diriyah UNESCO World Heritage site, a location that is expected to become a major cultural and retail hub.

Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, expressed his enthusiasm for the company’s expansion in the region: “We’re excited to be expanding here in Saudi Arabia with the launch of the Apple Store online next year, and the first of several flagship Apple Store locations starting in 2026. Our teams are looking forward to deepening our connections with customers and helping people across the country explore their passions, build their businesses, and take their ideas to the next level.”

This move is part of Apple’s broader strategy to support Saudi Arabia’s digital economy. Over the past few years, the tech giant has been increasingly involved in the country, not only through its product offerings but also by investing in local initiatives. Since 2021, Apple has been running an all-women academy in Saudi Arabia, which has trained nearly 2,000 individuals in coding, design, and entrepreneurship. Many graduates of the programme have gone on to publish apps that are now available on the App Store, contributing to both the local and global tech scene.

Apple’s investment in Saudi Arabia has gone beyond education and training. In the last five years, the company has spent over SR10 billion with Saudi companies, helping to boost the local economy. Furthermore, Apple has introduced services such as Apple Pay and Express Mode to improve the experience of both commuters and businesses in the country.

As Apple strengthens its ties with Saudi Arabia, the company is positioning itself as a key player in the Kingdom’s growing digital landscape, while also providing customers with more opportunities to engage with its products and services in a way that feels uniquely local.
