Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council signs MoU with Edelman

The Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council (ADBWC), under the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Edelman, a leading global communications firm. The agreement aims to provide support to businesswomen and entrepreneurs in the region.

ADBWC and Edelman have joined forces to empower businesswomen by enhancing their communication and leadership skills, crucial for business growth and expansion. Under the MoU, both organizations will co-host workshops, training programs, and events focusing on leadership, communication, and pertinent topics such as Artificial Intelligence and mental wellbeing. A significant aspect of the collaboration is the opportunity for ADBWC members to receive mentorship and knowledge-sharing from Edelman’s specialized communication professionals, aimed at supporting aspiring entrepreneurs.

The MoU signing occurred at the Chamber’s Building, with the presence of Her Excellency Marwa Al Mansoori, ADBWC Board Member, and Omar Qirem, CEO of Edelman Middle East. Several Council and Edelman representatives also attended the ceremony.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) reflects Edelman’s ongoing commitment to Abu Dhabi and the UAE. In addition to this, the firm has pledged to support young Emiratis through internships, mentoring, and employment opportunities. currently operates three wholly-owned offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Riyadh, and maintains a network of affiliates across the region.
