International reproductive medicine network IVI RMA Global has announced a strategic partnership with medical tech company Conceivable Life Sciences to deploy automated robotics within its fertility laboratories. The medical group will introduce the AURA platform, which is an automation-assisted in vitro fertilisation (IVF) laboratory system, to a chosen clinic in the United States in 2027. Following the initial American launch, the network plans to deploy the technology across its medical clinics in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

Conceivable Life Sciences specialises in applying robotics and physical artificial intelligence to clinical settings. The AURA setup is designed to execute manual laboratory procedures alongside trained embryologists rather than replacing human workers. The robotic platform is engineered to manage hundreds of delicate, operator-dependent actions with mechanical precision. Currently, the system is undergoing pilot studies where it has already processed over 1,000 human eggs and achieved live births across a testing group of more than 100 patients.

As part of the commercial arrangement, IVI RMA has finished a strategic financial investment in Conceivable to back further engineering development. Prof. Antonio Pellicer, Executive Chairman of IVI RMA Global, will join the board of directors at Conceivable.

Prof. Antonio Pellicer said: “By integrating innovative platforms such as AURA into our laboratory ecosystem, we are not only improving our patients’ abilities to build families, but also demonstrating how advanced technology can complement the expertise of embryologists and clinicians. Throughout our history, IVI RMA has helped define the future of reproductive medicine. This collaboration is another step forward in our mission to bring the most promising innovations to patients and continue raising the standard of fertility care worldwide.”

Alan Murray, CEO and Co-Founder of Conceivable Life Sciences, said: “IVI RMA’s decision to partner with Conceivable is a defining moment for reproductive medicine and it reflects something deeper than a commercial agreement. Together, we have the opportunity to establish a new benchmark for IVF laboratory performance and to close the gap between the standard of care available at the world’s best clinics and what more patients can actually access.”

Lynn Mason, CEO of IVI RMA North America, said: “This new partnership with Conceivable Life Sciences demonstrates IVI RMA’s belief that the responsible adoption of emerging technologies can help expand access, improve consistency, and unlock new possibilities for patients seeking to grow and build their families. By supporting technologies designed to standardize and optimize key steps in the IVF journey, IVI RMA is advancing solutions that have the potential to reduce variability, enhance quality control, and ultimately improve patient outcomes.”

Alejandro Chavez Badiola, MD, Co-Founder and Chief Medical and Innovation Officer of Conceivable Life Sciences, said: “Every patient who walks through the door of an IVF clinic deserves the same quality of care, regardless of which lab they are in or which country they are in. That has never been consistently possible before. For the first time, we can harness the power of robotic standardization, aiming to improve the laboratory environment where embryo quality is determined by science and precision.”
