REVOLT Sports has joined forces with Hana Kuma, Naomi Osaka’s Emmy-nominated media company, in a new partnership aimed at celebrating women athletes through original storytelling. The collaboration, announced on Monday (Sept. 15), will run under parent company Offscript and focus on shining a light on the personal journeys, career breakthroughs, and business ventures of some of the most influential women in sport.
“From the beginning, Hana Kuma was built to tell stories that reflect the depth and diversity of athletes’ experiences, especially women whose voices have too often been overlooked,” Osaka said in a press release. “Together, I see us creating content and experiences that don’t just celebrate women in sports, but challenge how the world sees them — building something that will inspire and empower for years to come.”
The new slate of content is designed to show the multidimensional side of athletes, with narratives stretching from their personal passions to their professional achievements. It also fits with REVOLT Sports’ wider mission to shake up traditional sports coverage and amplify cultural influence within and beyond the game.
“REVOLT Sports is dedicated to elevating the athletes who are flipping the script and shaping culture,” explained REVOLT’s Chief Content Officer Deon Graham. “Together with Hana Kuma, we’re providing a platform for women who are pushing boundaries not only on the court or field, but across every industry they touch. We’re telling stories that don’t usually get told, and doing it with the energy and edge that only REVOLT can bring.”
The collaboration will extend beyond digital formats, with athlete-led projects including interviews, behind-the-scenes training access, and event-based coverage. These will offer closer insight into how sportswomen are influencing industries, founding businesses, and creating defining cultural moments.
Hana Kuma and REVOLT Sports also plan to stage in-person events to connect fans directly with athletes who are redefining the meaning of success, legacy, and leadership.
“At Hana Kuma, we believe that the stories of female athletes deserve to be told with the same passion, creativity, and cultural relevance they bring to their sports,” said Stuart Duguid, co-founder of Hana Kuma. “Partnering with REVOLT is an opportunity to amplify these voices in a way that breaks barriers and inspires future generations.”
