Dubai’s female tech trailblazer named Google’s Champion for Diversity in the Middle East

Dawn Kubicek, a prominent businesswoman and CEO of Leaders in Digital, has been selected as a Women Techmaker Ambassador by Google, joining an esteemed global initiative aimed at empowering women in the technology sector. Out of thousands of applicants, Dawn’s selection highlights her impressive credentials and dedication to fostering a supportive community for women in tech.

With more than 23 years of experience at Google and extensive expertise in SEO, Dawn has been instrumental in the growth of Leaders in Digital. This consultancy, the first of its kind in the Middle East focused on female-led SEO services, has spent the past eight years helping businesses navigate strategic growth through Google’s various platforms. Her proficiency spans a range of areas, including SEO, data-driven marketing, analytics, paid search and media, and organic marketing.

In her new role with Google, Dawn aims to leverage her vast knowledge to benefit women across the Middle East, focusing on mentorship, skill development, and community engagement. She is committed to creating an environment where women can thrive, innovate, and collaborate in the tech industry.

Expressing her enthusiasm about the opportunity, Dawn stated: “It is an honour and privilege to be selected by Google to help women in the region to thrive in the tech world. I have always been passionate about creating a community where women especially can reach their potential and gain access to mentorship, knowledge and career development tools. In my role as a Google Techmaker Ambassador, I am looking forward to supporting women on this journey and leveraging Google’s global tech ecosystem to bring people together.”

Google’s Women Techmakers Program has been making waves since its inception in 2013, building a robust network of over 82,500 members worldwide. The initiative has hosted more than 1,260 events across 193 countries, and now, with Dawn at the helm for the Middle East, there is a renewed focus on expanding this impact in the region.

As the Middle East becomes an increasingly significant player in the global tech landscape, Dawn’s leadership will be crucial in fostering an inclusive environment that empowers women. Her commitment to community-building and professional development aligns seamlessly with Google’s mission to promote diversity and equality in the tech industry.
