The new administration in Britain announced on Saturday that it will host a meeting on foreign investment on October 14.

According to a statement from the British government, Prime Minister Keir Starmer will convene up to 300 business executives to spur investment in the country.

According to the release, Business Minister Jonathan Reynolds is anticipated to persuade investors that the UK is a developed trade partner that would enable UK companies to budget for consistent investment and economic expansion over the ensuing ten years.

After 14 years in opposition, Keir Starmer’s Labour Party won a resounding win in an election held on July 4 and returned to power. His government’s main goal is economic growth.

According to Starmer, his goal is to increase annual economic growth to about 2.5%, which would be comparable to Britain’s pre-crisis norm.
