The Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council (ADBWC), part of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has partnered with Seen App Ecommerce, a local commercial brokerage, to enhance the online shopping landscape and offer vital e-commerce training to Council members.

The collaboration was formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by HE Shaikha Al Nowais, ADBWC Board Member, and Maitha Al Katheeri, Founder and CEO of Seen App Ecommerce. This strategic move aims to support merchants and elevate the regional e-commerce experience.

In her statement, HE Shaikha Al Nowais emphasized the Council’s dedication to empowering female entrepreneurs. “Our partnership with the Seen App is consistent with our continued commitment to empowering creative businesswomen and female entrepreneurs. We actively encourage their growth and development by facilitating their entry into the dynamic world of ecommerce, and this partnership is one example of it. At the Council we’re very keen to provide an integrated and smart business environment to the businesswomen community. By leveraging innovative digital platforms, such as the Seen App, we provide them with access to innovative marketing and promotional opportunities. This is a priority for us, as it underscores our commitment to facilitating seamless business operations and fostering sustainable growth within our community. It also reflects our alignment with the directives of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi towards expanding e-services and comprehensive digital transformation initiatives.”

Maitha Al Katheeri, Founder and CEO of Seen App Ecommerce, noted the significant impact of this partnership. “Our distinguished partnership with the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council is set to amplify the presence of women across all business sectors. The ‘Seen’ platform offers a comprehensive suite of services that will enable all merchants in Abu Dhabi and UAE to broaden their global reach. This partnership underscores our commitment to fostering an environment that supports the growth and global expansion of businesses.”

Under the agreement, ADBWC members can join Seen App for free for one month, followed by a 50% discount on subscription fees. In a push for inclusivity, people of determination will enjoy a complimentary one-year subscription, with a subsequent 50% discount.

The Seen App aims to revolutionize the online shopping experience, focusing on service excellence and user comfort. It supports home merchants, people of determination, and local businesses, enabling them to market products ranging from electronics to handicrafts. Additionally, the platform offers legal support, training services, and workshops on e-commerce, website management, and digital applications.
