Visa Kenya announces She’s Next Grant competition 2024

Visa’s Global program has been announced and it aims to fund, run, and grow small businesses with the grant amount of KES 2.5 Million. She’s Next is a part of this program and aims to empower women entrepreneurs by providing the funds and membership to own a successful business.

Benefits of the Program

Women entrepreneurs of varying industries and parts of the world can apply for the grant and stand a chance to win KES 2.5 Million to fund their upcoming business. The program also aims to give mentorship facilities to entrepreneurs to hone their business skills.

Eligibility

  • For any woman entrepreneur
  • Must be a legal resident of Kenya
  • Must be an adult (18 and above)
  • Must own at least 51% of their business and operate their business in Kenya
  • The business must have been operating for over 1 year
  • business must have a product or service in the market and must be generating a minimum annual revenue of US Dollars $5,000 (or its equivalent)
  • Only 1 entry per person

Application Deadline: June 12, 2024 – Only one entry per person permitted. The written portion must not exceed 1,000 words. You may include photos or videos as requested
