Deutsche Bank Private Bank has confirmed the appointment of Jennifer Tay as Vice Chairman for Southeast Asia, with her role taking effect from August 3.
The hiring forms part of the private bank’s strategic plan to recruit senior executives and support expansion across its Southeast Asia business. Tay transitions to the firm following a career at Citibank, bringing over twenty years of wealth management and client coverage experience in the region.
Working with the Southeast Asia leadership team led by Johanes Oeni, Tay will focus on deepening client engagement across regional markets. Her responsibilities include offering senior client coverage and advancing the growth of One Bank Solutions, a central component of Deutsche Bank’s Global Hausbank model.
Head of Emerging Markets Marco Pagliara stated: “Our ability to continue attracting highly respected bankers like Jennifer reflects the strength of our platform, the momentum of our business and the opportunities we offer senior coverage and clients. Jennifer’s extensive network, proven leadership and deep knowledge of our region, will be invaluable as we expand coverage and deliver best-in-class client solutions.”
