The Women’s Tabloid Awards, set to be hosted at Shangri-La Dubai on 22nd January 2025, are delighted to announce the guest of honour for their third annual edition. The awards ceremony which seeks to recognise and honour women in business and leadership will be graced by Her Excellency Laila Rahhall El Atfani as the guest of honour. 

About the guest of honour

H.E. Laila Rahhal El Atfani is a respected entrepreneur, humanitarian and global advocate for women’s leadership, whose work continues to influence business and social development across multiple regions.

H.E. Laila is the President and Founder of Business Gate, Woman Business Circle and the I AM AFRICA platform. She also serves as a Goodwill Ambassador and leads REFAI, a non-governmental organisation focused on advancing opportunities for women and young people. Her career reflects a long-standing commitment to enterprise, inclusion and meaningful social impact.

Through Business Gate, she has guided companies in developing strong commercial strategies while building international partnerships, particularly between the UAE and global markets. Alongside this, she leads initiatives that provide practical insight and guidance for women in business. Woman Business Circle supports women through sustainable business development, encouraging innovative thinking, economic participation and financial independence. As President of I AM AFRICA, H.E. Laila leads programmes that support communities through economic and social initiatives.

Recognised globally as a compelling speaker and business leader, H.E. Laila has built a wide-reaching network of women entrepreneurs and has received numerous honours for her contributions to business and philanthropy. The organisers are certain that H.E.
