To address the rising demand for sustainable water solutions in the area, WABAG began a partnership with Al Jomaih Energy.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between WABAG, a pure-play water technology Indian multinational group, and Al Jomaih Energy and Water (AEW), a Middle Eastern developer of energy and water projects.

The MoU was signed during the India-Saudi Investment Forum, which took place on September 10 and 11 along with the G20 Summit, with the goal of discovering more potential in the development of water projects in Saudi Arabia and the larger Middle East area.

As part of the agreement, WABAG and AEW will work together on a variety of tasks, including project development, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), and feasibility studies for new water projects.

The combined expertise of the two organisations will be used to tackle the significant water concerns in the region. The partnership will concentrate on creating distribution networks, associated infrastructure projects, and facilities for water and wastewater treatment.

“The MOU will help both the organisations in the development collaboration and exploring the feasibility of development and investment opportunities in water projects in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other geographies in the Middle East,” Pankaj Malhan, Deputy Managing Director & Group CEO of WABAG.

Wabag will use its advanced technologies to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of water treatment operations, ensuring that people receive safe and clean water.
