Tysers welcomes Babita Rai as Singapore’s new Chief Executive Officer

Tysers, the independent Lloyd’s broker and part of Australia’s AUB Group, has announced the appointment of Babita Rai as CEO of its Singapore operations.

In her new role, Rai will concentrate on growing key business areas and enhancing client relationships across the Asia-Pacific region. With over two decades of industry experience, she joined Tysers in 2023 as Managing Director, where she led reinsurance operations in Singapore. Before Tysers, Rai held significant leadership roles at JB Boda, Guy Carpenter, and UIB Asia Reinsurance Brokers.

Tom Wilson, CEO of Tysers, shared his enthusiasm for Rai’s appointment, stating, “Supported by her excellent team, Babita will be instrumental in driving our strategic expansion in APAC, our broader reinsurance growth ambitions, and providing clients with the superior service that is synonymous with Tysers.
