Sunfish has announced an expansion of its partnership with Ivy Fertility, extending financial support services to patients across all 28 Ivy clinics in the United States. The collaboration aims to improve access to fertility treatment by integrating Sunfish’s financial tools with Ivy’s nationwide clinical network.
Under the expanded arrangement, all Ivy Fertility patients can now use the Sunfish Financial Hub, a platform designed to help individuals understand and plan for the full cost of medically assisted fertility care. The hub provides personalised cost assessments, guidance on funding options, and access to Sunfish’s loan marketplace and partner lenders. Selected clinics will also offer the Sunfish IVF Success Program, which uses biodata and predictive modelling to build flat-fee IVF packages.
Sunfish reports that its approach is already showing promising outcomes. According to the company, 70.8% of patient transfers have led to successful pregnancies and graduation to an OBGYN, compared with a national average of 54.3%. For uninsured patients, the company says twice as many have been able to begin treatment at clinics offering the IVF Success Program.
Angela Rastegar, CEO and co-founder of Sunfish, said: “Ivy was one of our first clinic partners, and three years and hundreds of patients later, we’re thrilled to support even more families on their fertility journeys. As someone who has been through the process myself, I have always believed that IVF shouldn’t feel like a financial gamble, and now at Sunfish, we’re using data, AI, and design to make care more accessible and easier to navigate.”
Sunfish is also extending its Sunfish Cares initiative to all affiliated clinics through the end of the year. The scheme, first introduced at Utah Fertility Center, provides at least $1,000 toward treatment for every new IVF Success Program patient at participating locations. The company says eight families have already received support, with hopes of helping many more.
As financial pressure remains a leading reason why prospective patients abandon treatment—data suggests 54–65% do so—Sunfish and Ivy Fertility say their joint effort is structured to provide clearer, more stable pathways through the fertility process. Constance Rapson, Chief Growth Officer at Ivy Fertility, said: “Our team is continually evaluating the best solutions and innovations that will support patient care. As a long-time Sunfish partner, we’ve seen how they are using new technology to make the patient experience excellent by providing greater financial support and clarity, ultimately helping more people go home with a baby. We’re excited to bring this innovative care to all of our patients.”
One patient supported by Sunfish Cares said: “Thanks so much for everything Sunfish has done and for all the support. You have made this adventure a true joy and miracle.”
