Sheboygan Paint Company has confirmed that Holly Bellmund will take over as Chief Executive Officer from 1 January 2026, following the planned retirement of Paul Krueger at the end of the year. Krueger leaves after three years at the helm of the family-owned industrial coatings manufacturer.

During his time in charge, Krueger led a series of operational upgrades designed to improve reliability and technical capability across the business. These included production process improvements aimed at achieving greater batch consistency, developments in small-lot and quick-turn manufacturing, and the purchase of Bradley Coatings. The deal expanded Sheboygan Paint Company’s reach in transportation and fleet equipment markets, adding customers with strong requirements around durability, corrosion protection and efficient application. The company thanked Krueger for his steady leadership through this period of change.

Bellmund arrives with more than ten years of senior leadership experience across specialty chemicals and manufacturing. She previously served as President of GLC Minerals, where she was responsible for strategy, operations, product development and market growth. Her career spans engineering, sales and commercial roles, giving her practical insight into aligning product formulation with performance expectations in the field. She has also worked closely with industrial, agriculture and equipment OEMs, all priority sectors for Sheboygan Paint Company.

“Sheboygan Paint Company has made significant investments to support more responsive manufacturing and to strengthen our technical capabilities,” said Jay Brownrigg, Chairman of the Board. “The Bradley Coatings acquisition, along with upgrades in batching, dispersion, and quality systems, reflects our focus on customers who need reliable supply, consistent performance, and support on application and substrate challenges. Holly’s experience leading product-driven manufacturing organizations makes her well suited to guide the next stage of growth.”

Bellmund said she sees meaningful opportunity ahead in end markets facing shifts in design requirements and performance expectations. “Customers today are balancing cost, performance, and production-line efficiency. Sheboygan Paint Company has a strong technical team and a manufacturing footprint that can support custom formulations, short lead times, and specialized performance requirements,” she said. “I look forward to working with the team to continue strengthening our capabilities in corrosion protection, coatings for heavy-use equipment, and solutions tailored to the needs of transportation, agriculture, and industrial OEMs.”

The Board said the leadership transition aligns with its long-term strategy around investment, manufacturing reliability and customer relationships. The company continues to concentrate on high-performance solvent- and water-based systems across metal, wood and plastic substrates, supported by in-house formulation expertise and more than a century of service to North American manufacturers.
