Sephora’s latest announcement brings Ms. Xia Ding into the spotlight as the newly appointed Managing Director for Sephora Greater China. Based in Shanghai, Ms. Xia Ding’s strategic role involves reporting directly to Ms. Alia Gogi, the President of Sephora Asia.

Ms. Xia Ding’s professional journey spans over two decades, notably with HanesBrands Inc., a major fashion retail player in the United States. During her time at HanesBrands, she led strategic planning and guided the company’s operations in China, playing a pivotal role in its rapid expansion.

Transitioning to Nielsen in 2015, Ms. Xia Ding assumed the role of Vice President of Retail Research, gaining insights into consumer behaviors and market dynamics. Her career continued to flourish as she took on executive roles, including President of JD Fashion and Lifestyle Business Group. Prior to Sephora, Ms. Xia Ding was the Vice President & General Manager of E-commerce for Nike Asia Pacific and Latin America.

With a wealth of experience across fashion retail and research domains, Ms. Xia Ding’s appointment highlights Sephora’s commitment to leveraging top talent for its Greater China operations. Her strategic insight and market expertise are positioned to drive Sephora’s growth trajectory in the region, aligning with the company’s broader strategic goals.
