Pitch, a leading premium indoor simulator and coaching business with multiple locations across London, has announced an extension of its partnership with adidas, aimed at promoting the game of golf to women in and around England’s capital. This initiative comes with the launch of the Women’s Beginner Golf Academy 2024.

The Women’s Beginner Golf Academy, a collaboration between Pitch and adidas, aims to create a vibrant community for women interested in golf and socializing. As part of this initiative, the academy is offering 100 free beginner lesson packages, with the goal of fostering growth in the sport and encouraging participation.

Building upon the success of last year’s campaign, which was exclusively tailored for beginners, the class of 2024 kicks off this April. Each participant will receive five lessons, including two group sessions and three individual lessons, all conducted by a PGA golf professional.

With two venues already established in London and plans for further expansion both nationally and internationally, Pitch has garnered recognition as the premier destination for golf enthusiasts seeking an inclusive, innovative, and enjoyable golfing experience. By integrating leading technology, professional coaching, and a contemporary social atmosphere suitable for all ages and skill levels, Pitch has solidified its position in the golfing community.

Jessica Ormrod, COO of Pitch, expressed the company’s commitment to enhancing diversity and accessibility in golf. She stated, “We are dedicated to making golf more inclusive and accessible, and following the success of last year’s academy, we are thrilled to offer this opportunity to 100 more women who aspire to embrace golf as part of their lifestyle. Bridging the gap between seasoned golfers and newcomers is central to our ethos, creating an environment where everyone can enjoy the sport and its social aspects, regardless of their skill level.”

Chris Hedderman, marketing and product director at adidas Golf, expressed delight in continuing the partnership with Pitch for the Women’s Beginner Golf Academy. He said, “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Pitch for the Women’s Beginner Golf Academy. At adidas, we believe in the importance of a community, and the academy embodies this perfectly.

“It is not just about learning the game; it is about creating spaces where like-minded women can come together, share experiences, and forge lasting connections, all while enjoying the game. We are proud to support initiatives that not only introduce more women to golf but also foster an inclusive and supportive environment for them to thrive in.”

Pitch offers both membership and casual bookings, with PGA Professionals available to provide coaching. In addition to virtual golfing bays, Pitch venues feature resident DJs, lounges, contemporary food and beverage options, social spaces, and a golf fashion concept store.

Applications for the Women’s Beginner Golf Academy class of 2024 are now open and will close on Monday, April 1, 2024. Successful applicants will be notified by Wednesday, April 10.
