National Finance’s General Manager recently announced that the company has appointed Ms. Marwa Ali Al Kharusi as Chief People Officer. This move is aimed at strengthening its leadership team and reaffirming its dedication to cultivating a high-performance, people-first culture.
This key appointment reflects the company’s long-term commitment to operational excellence and sustainable growth, with Ms. Al Kharusi expected to play a central role in advancing National Finance’s people-centric strategy.
With over 21 years of experience in senior Human Resources roles, she brings a wealth of expertise from a range of industries including telecommunications, oil & gas, and professional services. Her previous positions at prominent organisations such as Deloitte Consulting, Omantel, Shell, and the Ooredoo Group in Qatar have seen her lead initiatives across HR transformation, performance management, nationalisation schemes, and employee engagement.
A recognised advocate for people development, Ms. Al Kharusi is widely respected for her strategic leadership, in-depth understanding of organisational culture, and work on diversity and inclusion. Her previous role as Change & Engage Planner at Shell’s Downstream-One Project was noted for its impact on efficiency and change management execution.
Beyond her corporate career, she has been an active voice in the industry, delivering leadership workshops and speaking at international conferences. Her involvement in coaching programmes, mental well-being initiatives, and interpersonal skills training further reflects her holistic approach to nurturing talent, particularly among women.
She holds an MSc in International Management from the University of the West of England, UK, and a Higher Diploma in IT. She is also a CIPD member and has expertise in Oracle HRMS systems.
