Kathryn McKenzie gets the opportunity to be in the top financial role by becoming Superfeet’s new CFO (Chief Financial Officer). She will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations such as accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and risk management, and will also facilitate the company’s expansion into the medical and industrial work sector.

Superfeet Chief Executive Officer, Trip Randall, said, “Her exceptional financial expertise and dedication to cultivating high-performing teams aligns perfectly with our vision,” he added. “We are confident that Kathryn will play a pivotal role in charting our financial trajectory and realizing our ambitious objectives.”

McKenzie’s appointment came after Crocs announced Susan Healy as CFO and Wolverine Worldwide appointed Taryn Miller as its CFO.

According to a recent study from S&P Global Market Intelligence, the number of women to be appointed in a top financial position in a company has declined to 0.5% in 2023, hitting an ever-low in over a decade. These appointments come as a hope to increase women’s representation in the finance workforce and leadership too.

“With a wide range of solutions from performance to work to medical-grade orthotic insoles, Superfeet is well-positioned to extend its impact to even more individuals. I’m excited to join Superfeet and partner with the team to drive strategic growth, strengthening our support for customers, employees, and the broader Superfeet community,” said Kathryn McKenzie.
