As the re/insurance industry continues to expand its global reach, ISC Group, the leading non-profit dedicated to advancing women in this sector, has introduced a revolutionary membership package titled ‘GlobeTrotter’. This latest initiative underscores ISC Group’s commitment to fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for women, ensuring they can thrive on an international scale.

In today’s increasingly interconnected world, professionals in re/insurance often find themselves working across multiple countries and regions. Recognising this trend, ISC Group’s ‘GlobeTrotter’ membership offers a bespoke solution for women navigating the global landscape of this industry. This membership provides access to ISC events, resources, and networks worldwide, tailored to the needs of international executives.

Among the many exclusive benefits, ‘GlobeTrotter’ members will enjoy enhanced personal branding opportunities. This includes visibility at ISC partner conferences and invitations to prestigious events around the globe, allowing members to elevate their profiles both personally and professionally. Additionally, the package offers access to Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) accredited learning programs, as well as professional coaching aimed at refining leadership and team development skills. The international networking aspect of the membership also allows members to forge connections outside their home markets, opening doors to new business opportunities and markets.

Carmen Powell, Managing Director of ISC Group, highlighted the importance of this new initiative, stating, “At ISC Group, we are dedicated to creating a supportive community for women in the re/insurance sector, no matter where their careers take them. The GlobeTrotter membership is designed to help professionals build a robust international network and gain access to valuable resources that can elevate their careers and enhance their leadership skills.”

The creation of the ‘GlobeTrotter’ membership was inspired by feedback from current members in Bermuda and those interested in joining ISC’s global network. This move reflects ISC Group’s dedication to adapting to the evolving needs of its community, supporting women as they progress in their careers across different regions.

Genevieve Stow, Director of Outreach and Sponsorship Global at ISC Group, explained, “The ‘GlobeTrotter’ membership is a direct response to the needs of our members who are frequently travelling and looking to expand their professional networks globally. We are excited to offer a package that not only supports their professional growth but also connects them with a vibrant, international community.”

Become a ‘GlobeTrotter’

ISC Group encourages all professionals in the re/insurance sectors to join the ‘GlobeTrotter’ community and connect with like-minded individuals across major re/insurance hubs such as London, New York, Toronto, Paris, Zurich, Chicago, Dublin, and more.
