KN Energies, the international energy terminal operator, has appointed Irina Kabulova as its new Chief People Officer (CPO), effective 21 July. With over two decades of HR experience, Kabulova brings a wide range of people management expertise across the energy, logistics, and services sectors, both within Lithuania and internationally.

In her new position, she will be tasked with shaping and executing the people strategy across the KN Energies Group. Her responsibilities will include talent acquisition and development, employee engagement, organisational culture, and enhancing core HR processes.

Kabulova holds a bachelor’s degree in Management and Business Administration from ISM University of Management and Economics, alongside a Master’s qualification in Human Resource Management and Project Management.

Before joining KN Energies, Kabulova spent the past seven years at HAVI Logistics, where she served as HR Director for the Baltic region. During this time, she managed HR operations for four companies employing nearly 1,000 individuals. She also previously worked at Ignitis Group in the energy sector, where she held positions as an HR Business Partner and Head of the HR Department.

“I firmly believe that an HR leader must not only have a strong understanding of the business in which the organization operates, but also actively contribute to creating and growing its value, as well as achieving its goals. My priority upon joining KN Energies is to gain a deep understanding of the organization’s specific activities, strategy, culture, and employee needs – in order to implement a targeted, business-driven HR strategy. I believe that HR should be an equal strategic partner to the business in achieving sustainable growth and long-term success,” said Kabulova.

Darius Šilenskis, CEO of KN Energies, welcomed the appointment, noting, “We are excited to welcome Irina, a highly experienced people and culture professional, to our team. Her expertise in transforming HR functions, working with global teams, and leading change will be a great asset as KN Energies continues its energy transformation journey.”
