Health In Tech has confirmed a new high-profile session for its Independent InsurTech Summit, taking place alongside the World Economic Forum Week 2026 in Davos, Switzerland.

The newly announced panel, titled “First Ladies: Backing Women Who Build,” expands the agenda beyond the previously disclosed CEO discussion, “AI and Institutional Resistance: CEOs Driving Change in Legacy Sectors.” This second session will highlight prominent global figures who are driving women’s entrepreneurship, leadership advancement, and access to funding. It will also examine how technology, education and innovation can help close gender gaps in business formation and economic participation.

Cherie Blair CBE, KC, Founder of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women and Co-Founder and Chair of Omnia Strategy LLP, will speak on the panel. Blair, a distinguished King’s Counsel with more than three decades of experience, has spent much of her career championing gender equality, legal access, and women’s economic empowerment. Through her foundation, she has supported thousands of women in low- and middle-income nations to launch and grow businesses. She received a CBE in the 2013 New Year’s Honours List for services to women’s issues and charities both in the UK and abroad.

“Cherie Blair’s voice and vision represent the very essence of inclusive innovation,” said Tim Johnson, CEO of Health In Tech. “Her leadership in empowering women entrepreneurs reflects Health In Tech’s ongoing commitment to advancing inclusive and responsible innovation.”

Health In Tech said that its participation in Davos reflects its dedication to advancing ethical, compliant and results-driven AI across healthcare and insurance. The company highlighted key initiatives including AskTim, its AI benefits counselling tool, and HITChain, a developing framework aimed at improving secure data verification and transparency in audit processes.

Access to the firm’s Davos programming will be open to those attending the World Economic Forum and select invitees. Health In Tech will publish additional details, including the full agenda, confirmed speakers and livestream registration, via its event website as the schedule is finalised. Each event session will include audience question-and-answer segments and closing remarks, followed by a press photo call.
