Global Industrial Welcomes Anesa Chaibi as new CEO

Global Industrial Co., a leading distributor of industrial equipment and supplies, has announced Anesa Chaibi as its new CEO, effective February 17. Chaibi will also join the company’s board of directors, while Interim CEO Richard Leeds will leave from the role but remain as executive chair of the board.

Leeds expressed confidence in Chaibi’s ability to lead Global Industrial, stating her extensive experience in B2B and industrial distribution businesses. “Anesa’s business vision and industry expertise make her the right leader to drive the company’s future growth and success,” he said.

Chaibi, who has over 30 years of executive leadership experience, previously served as operating partner and chief transformation officer at Coalesce Capital Management. Her career also includes CEO roles at CoolSys, Inc., Optimas Solutions, and HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, as well as advisory and management positions at Warburg Pincus and General Electric.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, Chaibi said, “Global Industrial has a unique market platform, strong customer relationships, and an exceptional team. I am excited to guide the company as it continues to capitalize on growth opportunities.”

Chaibi has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University and an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
