Nokia has named Emma Falck as the new President of Mobile Infrastructure. She will also join the Nokia Group Leadership Team starting 1 September 2026. The Finnish company confirmed the appointment today in a stock exchange release from its headquarters in Espoo.

Falck moves to Nokia from Siemens, where she held the position of Executive Vice President for Products within the Smart Infrastructure Buildings division. During her time at Siemens she managed a global team focused on product development and supply chain. Her career history includes several senior roles at KONE and time as a Partner and Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group. She holds a PhD in Computational Physics from Aalto University.

The appointment comes as Nokia shifts its focus toward AI-native networks. The company aims to develop software-led infrastructure that uses open interfaces to speed up innovation in 5G Advanced and 6G technologies. Falck will report directly to Justin Hotard who serves as Nokia’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

In her new role Falck will be responsible for overseeing core software and radio networks. She expressed a desire to improve the company’s execution and integrate AI into development processes.
