Colliers has confirmed that Valeria Falcone will step into the role of Chief Executive Officer for its real estate services business in Italy, starting February 2025. With a strong track record in the industry, Falcone will oversee the growth and operations of Colliers’ Italian arm, which has seen substantial expansion in recent years.

In her new position, Falcone will focus on fostering stronger client relationships and driving the company’s growth across various asset classes. She will also work closely with teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) to ensure the delivery of sustainable value for Colliers’ clients. Her primary aim is to maximise opportunities for both clients and staff, while continuing to build on the company’s success in Italy.

Falcone brings an impressive background to the role, having previously held senior leadership positions at Barings, where she was Managing Director and Head of Value Add Investing for Europe. She has also held prominent roles at The Carlyle Group, Prelios, and Citibank Europe. A well-regarded figure in the industry, Falcone currently sits on the board of Confindustria-Assoimmobiliare and is a founding member of the Association of Women in Real Estate in Italy (AREL).

Davoud Amel-Azizpour, CEO of Colliers EMEA, spoke highly of Falcone’s appointment: “Valeria’s strong relationships with institutional clients and experience in world-class international organisations where she successfully managed complex strategies across different asset classes make her a superb fit for this role. She is aligned with our corporate values and has already established a rapport with much of our team. I look forward to working with Valeria as she shapes and drives the success of our Italian business. I’d like to thank the Italy leadership and all the team for continuing to invest in the great business they have established and to extend a warm welcome to Valeria.”

Reflecting on her new role, Valeria Falcone said: “I am thrilled to become the CEO of Colliers Italy and further position the business as a leader in the real estate market while enhancing the career opportunities for both our current and future team members. This is an exciting milestone in my career, and I couldn’t have chosen a better organisation for this journey. My experiences with Colliers have always been exceptionally positive, and I am eager to drive further growth.”
