Saudi’s STC Group and Ooredoo Group team up to enhance the ICT digital ecosystem

STC Group and Ooredoo Group have taken a significant step to enhance the digital landscape in the region by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for strategic collaboration.

As announced in a press release from STC Group, this partnership aims to improve the information and communication technology (ICT) ecosystem while expanding digital services and connectivity throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, according to a report from the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

By leveraging the strengths of both organizations, the collaboration is set to address the increasing global demand and support the fast-changing digital environment in the region.

STC Group chief carrier and wholesale officer Mohamed Alabbadi said, “In continuation of the STC Group journey in elevating the ICT digital ecosystem, we are proud to announce this strategic regional collaboration, spotlighting our commitment to elevate and expand such journey across the MENA region.”

Ooredoo Group chief business services officer Najib Khan said, “We are excited to join forces with stc Group on this visionary strategic collaboration. Together, we are committed to leading the way in driving innovation and accelerating digital transformation, laying a strong foundation for sustained economic growth and fostering regional development.”
