To strengthen female participation in Saudi Arabia’s energy sector, 3t, a global leader in training for high-hazard industries, has officially launched specialised training programmes for women at its newly rebranded GTSC training centre in Dammam.

The initiative, which has received official approval from the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), offers women access to world-class, industry-accredited training across the full energy value chain. This marks a major step in aligning with the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to increase local workforce participation and promote gender inclusion in key sectors.

As one of the pioneering global training providers delivering specialist energy sector programmes for women in Saudi Arabia, 3t is proud to support the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance the skills of its local workforce and promote inclusive growth throughout the region.

Female professionals participating in the initiative will be equipped with technical skills and globally recognised certifications to prepare them for in-demand, safety-critical roles within the energy industry.

“This initiative represents more than just training, it’s a powerful step toward unlocking the full potential of the Kingdom’s workforce,” said Hani Sagr, Managing Director of 3t MENA. “By empowering women with the skills, confidence, and certifications to succeed in the energy industry, we are helping shape a more resilient, inclusive, and future-ready sector. As the region continues its rapid transformation, we are proud to play a role in ensuring that opportunity is truly open to all, and driving towards Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.”

The GTSC training centre in Dammam has undergone enhancements to accommodate this initiative, including the addition of dedicated female facilities such as changing and resting rooms, and infrastructure modifications in line with local cultural norms. Additionally, female divers have joined the centre’s team of expert trainers.

Courses offered through the programme blend advanced simulation, digital technologies, and hands-on training to meet the highest international standards for safety, compliance, and competence.

This initiative comes on the heels of 3t’s 2024 acquisition of GTSC, marking a major milestone in its regional expansion. The programme further strengthens 3t’s strategic commitment to nurturing local talent and reinforcing the Kingdom’s long-term energy sector ambitions.
